I frequently find myself trying to convince non-rice-cooker users to give it a shot... so please give it a shot if rice is something you eat with any regularity. It is much easier than doing it on the stove, requires no supervision, and is perfect every time. Furthermore, a single-serving rice cooker can be had for about $20. I have [this](https://a.co/d/e4SvFPM) one that makes one cup, which is plenty for one meal at my house. With that being said, it is one more thing to have on your counter (or in your cabinet), and I have not had much luck finding one without a nonstick coating (in case that is something you care about). My solution has been to just use my [[Instant Pot]] for daily rice cooking.
